Hold Brothers - Kicking Ass

Discussion in 'Prop Firms' started by hawkeye222, Feb 23, 2007.

  1. Hold used to require the series 7, 55, and 63 for prop trading. Are you SURE licenses aren't required?

  2. I heard a rumor that Hold Brothers is no longer allowed to short stocks; can someone confirm or deny this?

Can anyone confirm earlier question about whether Hold has relaxed their requirement on series 7 registration or is that still a requirement for their prop trading?

  6. Series 7 is still a requirement for prop.

  7. They have a partner company placing ads in Craiglist. I responded to an ad and was given this response..

We are an independent branch office of Hold Brothers, the only professional
day trading firm to ever be highly ranked by a major publication. We offer
you a professional stock trading platform with instant executions and direct
access to every market. Commissions are less then 0.005/share for remote
traders! Per your individual account deposit, we extend you pro-leverage to
trade with. For example: you deposit $5000, you have $100,000 of intraday
buying power. If you have your series 7, 63, 55, we can extend up to 80 to
1 intraday. You keep 90 to 100% of your trading profits depending on
    account type you choose.

So from the email they do not require any licensing.
