Hobby trading...

  1. LOL. Guess you can't read or chose not. FXCM was my first finance job in NYC when I moved here over 5 years ago.

Additionaly FXCM employees don't trade, they just move paper around. Retail FX trading doesn't work.

    Best of luck to you.

  3. LOL!
    HUH???????????????

I love that you're getting so pissed at my comment of retail fx being a scam.

If you're profitable, why the foot-stomping?

  4. I am speaking in a small voice...your replies resemble that of beer drinking...

    Lets review:
    • Oh man, you don't really expect us to believe that you make solid money as a retail FX trader, do you?
    • LOL. Guess you can't read or chose not

  5. I'll chalk this misunderstanding up to miscommunication. I'd assume you know the difference between a back-office clerk and the guy who runs the trading desk.

    Have a great night.

  9. Wow!

Now look at what happens when I'm looking at an old Brandon Lee movie!:p :D :)

Electric Savant, we all know you have a sooper-duper double-secret proprietary system that you're using to bleed the FX markets dry, while you work round-the-clock, use wifey as slave labor and in general have found what is probably the absolute hardest method known to man to make an honest living trading the markets!

Kudos to you bro, make it happen!

Fader, your insight into the almost impossibility (notice I said, "almost impossibility" ES) of making a consistent profit in the FX markets is greatly appreciated, and pretty much confirms for me what I already absolutely know - that I want nothing to do with it!

Don't you think you're being kinda harsh on'em for having a back office job at (the now totally despised - at least on this website) FXCM, ES?

    I do.

    But hey, it's all good.

What started out as a totally useless thread has now delivered some very useful information to me (not for myself, but for a buddy who insists on trying his hand at FX).

    Best All,

    Jimmy

  10. JimmyBackJammer...

If you discovered what I have, you would understand more. I shouldn't even be posting about my system (s) or talking about them.

It's just that I have grown fond of ET and consider other traders family. When another trader finds his way I rejoice with him.

As far as our thread author, I hope he enters the world of trading and finds it as fulfilling as I have. I want to encourage him to go ahead with his plans and I wish him good trading. But say goodbye to the money. Each time you restart it you should last longer.

As far as your comments about Wifey, why don't you ask her what she would rather be doing right now...she can take care of herself...She has the trading bug and wants to trade all of the time, even my shifts. She talks, eats and breathes trading. Her ET handel is MrsSavant.

As far as the FXCM comments..I stand for those. Anything with the FXCM initials should be avoided, unless its a new porn site that I am unaware of. :)
