Holy cow, Austin, you held for over an hour! That's like a long term investment to us scalpers!

  4. I needed time to complete my chest & arms weight routine... summer office is in the home gym. I prefer one trade that lasts all day and run for 10+ points, but we take what the market offers.

  6. Interesting example again from Nodoji, a very impressive trade-- but I disagree with others that there is any edge being given away here. Looks more like a lucky guess, otherwise it's some kind of voodoo that allows one to pick market tops to the tick. :D

By TA standards that triangle looked more like an ascending triangle variety, due to break higher. Albeit it was in an overall down moving market but still. In any case a fine example of intuitive chart reading, thanks for sharing and posting the blotter!

  7. I see you folks like to buy on long candle wicks down and sell on long upward candle wicks.

Can someone explain to me exactly what is illustrated in a long candle wick? I understand buyer or seller exhaustion, but exactly what does this mean? Can anyone precisely define what price does to create the wick.

  8. Even if a triangle is ascending, doesn't mean it will break out. In fact, using the knowledge that many can see this as ascending traingle just adds fuel to the fire if it doesn't break out. If a PA trader accurately reads that the resistance is not breaking, those people who got long in anticipation of the break bail, as do those traders who take profits at resistance. Combined with those shorting the resistance level, we have the recipe for downward pressure, not to mention those who wait for even more confirmation before piling in short. It's a self fulfilling prophecy of sorts.

Ok, so this really is about your debates with specific individuals. Therefore, I will assume the issue really isn't about proving price action trading has merits in a complete trading plan considering you're already on record in saying it may have merits in a complete trading plan.

Thus, I will assume that the real issue is that you doubt those you've been debating are really profitable while using price action even though they are on record already here at ET for posting broker statements and live calls in the past. That explains the "new requirement" involving real-time screen sharing in comparison to past requests by others about live calls and broker statements.

I think I already know whom you're talking about. They already have a following and credibility for educating other ET members that have publicly stated the information learned from these individuals (ET educators) has been useful. Also, they're on record here at ET for doing the live calls and broker statement thing in the past when such was requested about them.

What Do They Gain For Catering To Your Request ???

I ask the above critical question because most ET members do not cater to those that have been attacking their credibility with phrases like "dreamers" and many other sayings along with you failing to follow through on many public agreements you made with others. In addition, there's the issue of you trolling these individuals in other threads and attacking their credibility whenever they talk about TA or price action without showing any proof of your own "price drivers".

Reminder, they have already establish credibility with many ET members and I don't think they care what you believe or don't believe when you yourself aren't willing to do the same about your "price drivers". Thus, they will probably see your request as unreasonable considering you've probably lost credibility with them.

Price is continuous. Bars are just a convenient way to package price movement over time. Why do you think a wick is important? Because price was rejected during your choice of bar interval?
