Yet you are an affiliate of hers? So you're advertising her stuff that is targeting beginners but not sure it's valid?
It wasn't a website story. It was a documentary about gambling on TV I stumble upon a few years back on one of the life channels. The guy I mentioned was only 5mins of the 1 hour documentary. The documentary was about "careers in gambling" and its impact on surrounding communities.
You saying you personally know someone and you have personally seen her trade and it was impressive...someone that uses TA ? Maybe you meant you were in her chat room and/or she's an online trading friend of yours ? Also, although I don't know what a combine is but it sounds like something involving simulating trading. Therefore, if someone (this gal you know) is already trading "impressively" with real money...why would that person stop making real money for whatever duration to only do simulation trading when they already have an establish successful business and they're already "impressively" trading with real money.
I don't know you, but I like you. You are an excellent writer. However, you make assumptions put forth as fact---- she was personally introduced to me by another friend. Yes. What i observed was impressive but I have also been impressed with astrological forecasts that were uncannily accurate. Has nothing to do with the underlying premise being faulty. WRB. Why don't you step up to the plate and participate in the combine to publicly prove TA. No need to stop making money, in fact, have much more money with no risk if you pass. Plus you can trade simultaneously. Ask Austin P. he explains the why. surf
Sorry I'm not him, and not affiliated with him. Geez, everyone is so paranoid around here. I didn't even know that Surf was an affiliate of her. I remembered that chick because Surf mentioned her a while back and only posted the link because of the pics of her with students. Like I said, I never was in her chatroom so can't give a verdict on it.
Did you not see my or ??? Those are not assumptions. I asked questions so that a person (you) can clarify to ensure there are NO assumptions. Simply, you could have only replied with the following statement without the other crap about me making assumptions. she was personally introduced to me by another friend. I would have then replied to the above via saying something like...Thanks for the clarification. ***** By the way, thanks for confirming to me that you know someone else (besides Timothy Sykes) that impressively trades while using TA regardless how important the TA is to that person. ***** With that said, I do not know what the hell is a combine but if its with real money...send me the information via private message. In contrast, if its just another simulator contest designed by some prop firm...I'm truly not interested because I DON'T DO prop nor do I want any kind'uv firm marketing their business on my back. In addition, you do not know how much money I have. Therefore, its impossible for you to say I will have much more money. I work for myself...not for someone else. I'm well capitalized and if I needed "more money" I would sell one of my properties or sell at auction some of my art works...please don't take my lack of interest in someone's business model as negative for what they do for others. By the way, you have this "dick measuring mentality" whenever someone catches you saying someone is impressive in their trading while at the same time minimizing their use of TA. I find that bizarre behavior response by you that you consistently do here at ET. Your next response should be as you've done in the past about people you've said has impressive trading...She uses TA but for illustration purposes only. Thus, her TA use has no impact on her trade decisions and she can not prove that TA works for her. By the way, I've already proven publicly that TA works with other tools along with showing that TA does not work alone. You probably missed that memo.
Why should I give a hoot if you OR ANYONE think or believe or know anything about how I trade or if any techniques, methods, or systems pass YOUR muster, whether in my arsenal or not? Moreover, there are only 2 reasons why anyone would do the TST combine. 1) interest in working for someone else which suggests a necessary ingredient or characteristic for trading success is missing. 2) something to prove to self or someone else which suggests a need for approval and/or glory-hounding, or an ulterior motive in which 3rd party credential/award/endorsement add value.
1. being funded has nothing to do with working for someone else. It is a transfer of risk from yourself to another-- any trader who doesn't understand this advantage is WAY behind the curve. 2. Why post on elite at all? Clearly those who put them forth as mentors MUST prove themselves-- I am not calling out every TA person, only those who make claims or set themselves up as a mentor type persona. TIddly-- to you and everyone else with this line of reasoning--- why make claims or even post on elite trader then? If you post here and make claims of your success, you NEED to prove it in the combine. Obviously, if you don't make claims then your post makes sense and I agree with you. However, several here have made amazing claims of success-- therefore, they are called to task to demonstrate-- -if they don't, its concluded that its being made up or exagerated. This is particullarly true if the success if claimed to be due to a method that is fatally flawed to start with. surf
