I think Surf is somehow compensated for generating traffic here. If he isn't, he should be . I can't answer for the rest of the posters in this thread, but for me it's mostly entertainment. I don't for a minute think Surf believes half of what he posts here.
Well, it's only $3k for "Individuals age 26 or younger," which covers many (most?) of the ET trolls -- unemployables who returned to Mom's basement post-college and spend their days online pretending to be BSD traders.
Ah lovely, the higher entry requirements bring a higher percentage of winning accounts, nothing to do with anything really, we can still use the entire market to judge ta its just those winners must um, be using expensive ta not available to retail! Or something.
what one can see here is group of TA traders that manage to somehow make some profit with hard work and digging new edges every now and then. But TA cannot give you 70% win rate consistently. You can do for a while but then habits of losers change or drop out, and you become loser for a while etc. It is real hard work to stay ahead. Then you have other group that moved ahead form TA and expanded. They can achieve 70% + win rate with much less work. Yeah, I prefer second group.
Apart from the fact that $3K is a whole lot more than $500 which is Surf's claim, the question was directed to him. Ops, I forgot. You are him . Another question: do you really believe that the majority of the IB retail forex traders are made up of ET trolls? Do you have any information that support this claim or is it just an opinion for the sake of trolling?
You arent getting near that promised land if you think its not real hard work for soros to stay ahead because he has "expanded"..
Truth is, if myself and those who collaborate with me and or are my friends stop posting--- this site would wither and die at its current dismal activity level. Peace
I'll admit my figures may not be accurate--- I think they are from FXCM mini account data or maybe FXCM in total. I'm just going by memory--- By the way, I'm not Rodney.
