I hope you make money regardless, but you posted you borrowed shares. Did you short or not and did you cover and go long? Just curious but I would not touch this one at these levels.
Guys, what's with all this drama? Does anybody still believe this to be a legitimate company and stock? Check out the US ADR Underwriters: https://webb-site.com/dbpub/orgdata.asp?p=2605478 https://www.eddid.com.hk/en/ A total scam and insider trading scandal at massive proportion. I would not be surprised at all if the triads were fully involved in this. The entire purpose of this ADR is to suck in international imbeciles so that the underwriters can cream 2.2 billion USD off the IPO (unless the stock tanks 99% or more from the offering price, LOL). Details are all publicly available. A 100% scam, am willing to put my hand into the fire on my claim of it being a scam. https://markets.businessinsider.com...-price-ipo-chinese-tech-retail-traders-2022-8 Edit: To add, AMTD Digital claims it runs an "independent investment bank out of Hong Kong". Funny as nobody has ever heard of them. They are nobodies, just scam artists. I bet the entire core of the scam is to cash in the underwriting green-shoe option.
Everyone already assumes this, but you can make lots of money when they run these junk plays up to unload it on the dummies. That is why we trade them. This last move up is just to kill all the shorts.
Did you trade it then? Fully knowing it was halted and might be halted any time again, not knowing whether it may potentially re-open at 1/2 or 1/3 the price? Good luck.
You don't trade these at these levels. It started out under $20, so there was time to trade it some. This is just the big money playing chicken and killing shorts. But it is very entertaining now.
Yep, and that is probably why ole Jack went silent. Hopefully he covered quickly if he actually shorted it.
