So in my reply to said accusations and attacks, I jest in poem as well as call out the obvious hostility towards ME. @Probability @maxinger
Imagine randomly had I done the same to you Would you not be spirited in return yet justifiably so? @Probability @maxinger
Hey Lee, Try not to take the attacks personally. I have only been on this forum for a few months but I quickly picked up that many of ETs most active members seem to go from post to post looking for something to complain about. Thanks for sharing the screenshots of your trades as they unfold. Regarding your NAS100 trade on 4th Dec: You said you entered with a limit order but it looks like it would have been a stop entry order? How did the 2nd TP get hit if the stop had been moved up to half initial risk before price made the test down to 21403.4? Entry point appears to be 21425 with an initial stop seems to be around 21400 meaning your adjusted stop level would have been about 21412.5 Would that not have stopped you out? If your stop for some reason was not in that area, would you have manually closed the trade if the bar had closed near the lows showing bearish momentum by your standards? Can you tell me a bit more about your profit targets and how you manage a trade? What % of your position are you closing at each TP target?
Hey what's up. Appreciate the advice concerning some ET members as well as you checking my journal out. Yeah, I misspoke, that was a buy stop order. I actively manage my trades. Initially I did move the stop to half risk but once i noticed confluence for a possible bullish move from that area I gave the stop some breathing room for the trade to play out. Yeah, I would have manually closed if the 5min bar would have closed below that wick. My profit target initially is always a 1:2 RR. But if I see enough momentum and or HTF equal high/lows I'd monitor the trade to see if it'll reach those targets. After a 1:1, I half my risk by moving my stop up half its original amount. This rule isn''t hard set but more of a managed rule because of how the market moves at times. It's saved me a lot because fast reversals happen on LTF's. If I'm just aiming for TP2, which I do majority of time - 100% Past TP2 I'm closing 80% of the position and stops @ BE.
if you two are done swapping spit you might want to be aware that the pictures you showed are not trades but alerts and according to the CFTC alerts are not trades at all just a set of surrogate instructions devoid of entries targets or stops. So you actually took no trades and accordingly have no trade data.
