Tradingmarkets required proof of profitability from all their contributors. I know since i worked for Larry in number of capacities including running several web properties. surf
I know nothing about this Cooper fellow, I have no use for vendors, and I giggle at all things Gann. But Speedo mentioned that they were trading ES. I haven't touched ES in years, but I know you can trade a fairly large number of ES contracts, by retail standards, without leaving much of a footprint. So unless he was moving meaningful size by ES standards, I'm not sure you would necessarily be able to surmise either his trade or account size.
sorry if I miscommunicated. I was not suggesting your latter statement, which I agree with. I was saying that in a chat group between traders, talking about trading ideas, entries, exits, orders, is kind of meaningless without talking about position size. Hence his initial claim that he would not have known (which he later on implicitly corrected) about the size of the other guy's orders raised some eyebrows with me. That's all.
I don't know the size he was trading but he traded the big contract not the ES...used to call his broker to open a position. Hearing him talk about Gann gave me a headache but he loves the stuff.
Jeff Cooper's books were modeled after the Street Smarts book Connors and Rashke authored, Connors published it and sold for $100 if I remember correctly.
