My wage inflation has kept up, exceeded actually, price inflation. That leaves the rest of the suffering masses. But in the past when I've leaned on their plight to make an argument, Team Right has been quick to point out that, in spite of problems, the working man is better off today, in terms of what he can consume, than he was 30 years ago. Also, "our poor are fat". Etc.
