  4. the coolest of the cool

When I said, I needed you
You said you would always stay
It wasn't me who changed, but you
    And now you've gone away
Don't you know that now you're gone
And I'm left here on my own
Now I have to follow you
And beg you to come home
You don't have to say you love me
    Just be close at hand
You don't have to stay forever
    I will understand
    Believe me, believe me

you don't have to love me
but believe me i'll NEVER tie you down

    B&D aint my thing:)

Left alone with just a memory
Life seems dead and so unreal
    All that's left is loneliness
    There's nothing left to give

you don't have to say you love me..
    just be close at hand

    does it get any cooler

    :/

    Cesko

    jzlucas,
I have a question for you. I can jam to(with?!) almost anything BUT there is certain type of songs I just can't fucking hear it. I think it's a minor pentatonic scale of some sort, it's too flat, large intervals,(not melodic). Typical representative song is "Walk this way" AEROSMITH.
Is it just a matter of developing better ear or WTF?

  8. LOL! When you say "jam to"... do you mean from a listeners point of view or from a guitar players point of view? Im assuming guitar players point of view as you mentioned the ever-present pentatonic scale.
Walk this Way: Along with 90+ percent of every other classic rock guitar solo, the 3 solo's in this song are your very basic pentatonic scale. (5 notes w/ an occasional passing note). The first solo is in C pentatonic. 2nd solo is a mix of C major and pentatonic... (giving it a bit of an odd feel). 3rd (outro solo) is E pentatonic as the opening riff switches from A to E. If this doesn't answer your question, give er another go! I've played this song pretty much every Saturday night for at least a decade and never want to hear it again! *sigh* :)

  10. Easy there, goat. Yes, I am capable and sometimes I just wing it. Those pentatonic scales get mighty boring after awhile.
