ya, MY freakin way!get over it! And now, the end is near; And so I face the final curtain. My friend, I'll say it clear, I'll state my case, of which I'm certain. I've lived a life that's full. I've traveled each and ev'ry highway; But more, much more than this, I did it my way. Regrets, I've had a few; But then again, too few to mention. LOL! Alright goat, your posts are usually garbage, but this one was pretty good! Jimmy is very creative. His acoustic stuff is original and he's a great songwriter... however (here's the part you're waiting for!) as far as lead work goes, he's quite sloppy live on a lot of his solo's. blah. ... and gimmee a break, I make more than a $100 a gig. I need all the money I can get to buy the local hoes those drinks.
I like jazz fusion type stuff; bluegrass; you know, where the cats are extremely talented but don't get any respect or sell a lot of albums. To be honest though, I've covered all the rock/metal groups you mention over the years and still do. Why? More money... I'd only be making $100 (or less) a night playing what I really wanted to.
