Hello to everyone in this board,

maybe my question is not that new, but it concerns me now for a while: Which historical data supplier should i choose in order to get clean tick data for testing systems in TradeStation2000i?

What is the best method of creating continous contracts for testing longer periods? Schwager has clearly shown that the spread adjusted method is far superior to the others, if you want to get as realistic as you can.

Pinnacle data sells the data maker software which also provides a new method: Ratio adjusted contracts. But where is the advantage?

    Any suggestions are welcome!

    Best regards
    Cosmic :)

  2. Hi...I've used tickdata with my omega software. A little tricky to
install, but once you get it installed it works fine. I'm not positive, but it seems like there was an option with the software to create continous contracts when you install. Hope this helps.
