I'm looking for a source for historical news. I've checked briefing, marketwatch, yahoo, msn, google, and reuters and the most they go back is 2-3 years. I'm looking for something that goes back 5 to 10 years. I just want to plug in a symbol and it returns headlines with the date and time. Anyone know of such a source? Thanks, Cash
Factiva will do exactly what you want. You can get an account and look at just headlines and the first line of a story for $69/year, or you can sign up and pay to see entire articles. It goes back about three decades for many sources and has around 8,000 periodicals in its database. I use the service and think it's great. polr
