I was wondering if anyone knew of a website that may post past data releases and info (ex. payroll, durable goods, CPI, etc.). This would be great for explaining some of the historical price movement in the price data I am viewing. thanks
How far back do you want to be able to go? Most online calendars I've seen don't allow you to view even the previous week, unless you enjoy playing around with Google Cache search. Up to about 6 months back here, currently since mid-June: http://www.forexfactory.com/index.php?page=calendar An excellent, global calendar, BTW, from a trader's perspective, and I've tried many.
Yeah, more than 6 months would be very helpful indeed. If anyone knows of such a calendar / website, even if not free, please share...
find someone you know with bloomberg and you'll be able to get everything back as far back as you want
Excellent solution here, going back 5 years: http://biz.yahoo.com/c/ec/200101.html It was just posted in this thread: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=60464 Thanks, macal625!
