There is a significant difference? Oh wait, you're still under the illusion that there are real elections in this country and a two party system. Those with scores above 660 will be more closely scrutinized to determine whether they are eligible or must continue making payments under existing terms, said the person." so let me get this straight, this is only supposed to help the most irresponsible borrowers? the ones who can't even pay their bills on time to begin with. those are usually the scummiest borrowers of all. why are they being helped in particular? they probably deserve it least. if i'm one of these scumbags, and my fico went up over years, i'd intentionally miss a credit card payment to get under the threshold.

How is she going to freeze the LIBOR index? Most of these ARMs are LIBOR Arms. Sure you can freeze the teaser minimum payment rate but you can't fix an index. These people are going to be in even more trouble b/c they're still going to get neg am.. Countrywide should pay their neg am..
