Most of our leaders are wealthy, it's a wash. The loudest criticism of Romney's wealth was how he made it. The timing for a finance gamer to come along was pretty bad.

  2. How he made it? The man did actually do a little work in the process. He actually built a few things. How has Clinton made it? Hard work? Being paid hundreds of thousands to give a speech is hardly symbolic of some kind of rags to riches story. She has done nothing but feed at the government trough, either directly or indirectly. If you're unimpressed with how Romney made his money, you must be, at a minimum, equally harsh on Clinton to have any consistency in your criticism.
Romney may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I do believe the guy has some sense of humility. Clinton has no such personal trait.

  3. Romney never claimed to be destitute. His mistake was to think that being in PE was the same as starting Apple. It isn't. But then, neither is peddling influence, giving speeches for huge sums or making sweetheart investments.

All this might be true, but Romney put his dog on the roof of his car 5 and a half decades ago, and in highschool he cut some kids hair, a story that was front page at the washington post at the time, these are clearly much more pertinent issues.

Nahhh... Even that (obviously partisan) entry in snopes states that "She did make the statements reported above, but ..." and then leftist spin, spin, spin. That's who she is, always speaking from both sides of her mouth, obfuscating everything but leaving a solid extra-liberal trail of statements all over that betray her true beliefs, for many years. "Poor" (yeah, right) woman... :)

Don't forget that when Obama was making similar statements, the leftist apologists were saying "... oh, he doesn't really mean it, he'll strengthen our economy, re-invigorate our image abroad, be open, competent and fair..." etc etc. And now, look where we are :(

I don't say things like "Obama is a good, but, really, not so great, president" etc etc. Or "Hillary will be a good, but, really, who knows, president..."

What I say is "Obama is performing very poorly as a president. Hillary will be a poor president too."

That's how real people speak. Clearly. Or else, be very careful.
