  2. I wish the tea party had something in common with Kennedy, sadly they don't. But the republicans also don't have much in common and yes even the dems don't carry on the Kennedy spirit or message. And none of them have the leadership Kennedy had. Bad times for American politics.
We could use another JFK today. But he wouldn't get any tea party votes.

Alright, I'm certainly willing to be corrected. How did you tie that quote to the quotes from Hillary?

Kennedy's speeches were very tea party. I am not saying he was a great president...

but he was apparently anti Federal Reserve, he lowered taxes to stimulate the economy...

The myth today is that John F. Kennedy was a liberal. His brothers, Robert Kennedy and Ted Kennedy certainly were. Ted Kennedy was undeniably a left wing radical, who in the 1980’s approached the Soviet Union, our enemy at the time, about getting their help to defeat Ronald Reagan.
The funny thing is, if you listen to the speeches of John F. Kennedy he could be a member of the Tea Party today. In his inauguration, he asked Americans to ask not what their country could do for them but what they could do for their country. In that same inauguration address, he said
“And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe — the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God.
We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans, born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this Nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world.
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty.”
No Democrat would ever give that speech today. None of them believe it.
John F. Kennedy was a conservative and a patriot. He loved America. He was arguably the last patriotic Democrat President.
Kennedy called for and got, not tax hikes but tax cuts. He used the same arguments that Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush would use decades later. Kennedy stood up to the Soviets when they tried to put nuclear missiles in Cuba and he stood against the communist expansion in Southeast Asia.
He inspired America to do the impossible. That was to go to the moon before the 1960’s ended and bring a man safely back.
Since Kennedy’s death, the Democrats have worked overtime to transform a patriotic American who was a conservative, into a liberal icon. John F. Kennedy was not a liberal, contrary to what the Democrats say today.

With every new piece of information uncovered about the 9-11 attack on Benghazi, the more shameful Hillary Clinton’s infamous cry of “What difference does it make?” rings.

According to a new bipartisan report from the Senate, the deaths in Benghazi could have been prevented had the Obama administration and the State Department under Hillary Clinton’s leadership heeded the ample warnings they received before the attack...
