I don't think it is correct to refer to the DNC employees as HRC "staffers". Any more than they were Sanders staffers or O'Malley staffers, etc. They did what they did on their own. Most likely HRC sensed that they were biased and on her side, and did nothing to dissuade them. Would you have?

My understanding from reading the Washington Times article is that the allegations involve those working for PACs, which by law can not coordinate directly with the HRC campaign.

The Nixon case is very, very different. You may be too young to recall the details. But there are many excellent accounts of the Watergate fiasco available. Nixon did not know about Watergate until after the break in. (The A.G., John Mitchell, knew that this group called the "plumbers" were going to break in. Mitchell, who in my mind was among the most competent and ethical of all in the Nixon admin., told them not to, but he did not alert the President. He did tell the "plumbers" that they were nuts!) It isn't for the break in that Nixon was forced to resign. It was all the illegal shit that followed that Nixon was directly involved in, and came to light because of the Watergate investigation. He was going to be impeached and convicted. His most faithful Republican Senators, who had originally stuck with him, deserted him one by one, once they knew it was all over but the shouting. It was Nixon's own counsel, John Dean, that put the nails in his coffin. Nixon's fatal flaw: Arrogance! He was caught on tape saying, "When the President does it , it's not illegal!" All the top guys involved in the cover up went to prison except Nixon, whom Ford pardoned, ruining his own chance at being elected in his own right.

The reason I can speak about these matters is I have experience and common sense. I know that when something does not make sense it is probably not right. That is close to an infallible standard. The more bizarre the accusation, the stronger the evidence required to back it up.

If someone says their is a video proving that the President ordered the Twin Towers be brought down, I don't spend time looking for evidence that he didn't, I expect those making the charge to bring forth irrefutable evidence from a reliable source. Which they virtually never do of course.

As a matter of fact, I am waiting right now for your link to the "undercover" video. Which quite naturally you won't be able to produce since you are getting your information second hand, and not necessarily from a reliable source.

Furthermore, let us suppose the video reportedly coming from a "conservative group," as reported by "The Washington Times," is shown to be accurate, and unedited, what would this have to do with HRC?

What in the world are you even talking about, crazy twin towers conspiracy stuff lol.

Sounds like you've created your own reality and will reject anything to the contrary. That is an extremely dangerous mindset in my opinion.

What?? The video was already posted and discussed in the Washington Times article. Did you even read it and watch the video? Are you claiming the Washington Times is not a reliable source?

  4. Inciting Trump supporters was easy, he said.

“I mean, honestly, it’s not hard to get some of these assholes to pop off,” Mr. Foval said. “It’s a matter of showing up, to want to get into the rally, in a Planned Parenthood T-shirt. Or, ‘Trump is a Nazi,’ you know. You can message to draw them out and draw them to punch you.”

So true, lol, it was a brilliant plan even if never instituted.

Thanks for posting the actual quote. Standing at a Trump rally in a Planned Parenthood T-shirt is a far far cry from "paying thugs to disrupt Trump rallies" which AAAintheBeltway and lots of others are certain the email stated. Sounds like the "thugs" were the one's willing to become violent in the face of a T-shirt they didn't like, not the person wearing the T-shirt.
By way of comparison, there's a great clip of President Obama dealing with a heckler last week at a Clinton rally, the guy is shouting and trying to disrupt the rally and Obama manages to take care of it with a bit of humor that had everyone laughing. The contrast couldn't be greater.

If you make money from volatility as many do you may do pretty well under a Clinton administration. People made money when Bill Clinton was President.

Some will argue that Bill Clinton simply rode the alpha wave of the tech boom, nonetheless a lot of people made good money.

Trump remains an unknown so far as the markets. I've voted for him on the strength of his language regarding taxes and trade (and immigration) but I've no idea what would occur should he win.
