No one said only amino acid is needed for good health. I am saying it is important like vitamins and minerals. You can talk and not call people moron. But you do so I call you stupid.
Tomatoes might have all the essential amino acids but I am sure there are a few amino acids that would be really low. So you would have to eat 600 tomatoes a day to survive. But I bet you wouldn't.
?Might have all".. No, they DO have all I never suggested exclusively eating just one food or plant. Who would eat like this? A variety of plants eaten over the course of the day supplies all the amino acids in sufficient ratio. BTW, 600 tomatoes is about 1200 grams of COMPLETE protein.
You come up with an extreme example of someone with an obvious eating disorder that proves nothing except your an idiot.. You're not saying much of anything with substance.
Ok, that is not a good example of proving tomato with all essential amino acids is not enough to make complete protein. I understand that a vegetarian diet can be healthy if a person educate themself to know how to mix foods to make a complete protein. I told you this before. What you see is saturated fat of meat as all bad, so meat is bad to you. I say that is wrong. Some saturated fat is needed. Meat has some saturated fat, and also all essential amino acids to make complete protein. Meat as part of diet is excellent source of complete protein, but has high calories and high saturated fat compare to plants. So it is best to eat moderate portions to get some very good nutrients. Good health can be from vegetarian diet or meat eating diet. People of different cultures have many different diets. Some eat meat and have low heart disease and good health. So for you to see only one way as only way is extreme. And to see only the bad of saturated fat from meat is closing your eyes to what it has that is good. Meat in moderation give needed saturated fat, and complete protein. If you do not want to eat meat, than coconut oil is good saturated fat.
There is NO RDA for saturated fat. Why do YOu think that is.. \ Didn't i just show you evidence you don't have to worry about combining specific proteins, all plants have the full complement. Eat a variety of plants, which any sane person would do, and you are (better) than ok. you avoid all the sat fat in meat "moderation" to my grandfather was a oatmeal for breakfast but LB steak for lunch and dinner. is this "moderatuion"?
That is what is wrong. You think no saturated fat is good? No RDA for saturated fat means to you that the body does not need some?
Not to derail the argument here but I am bored and feel like typing. From what I understand the healthiest diet/lifestyle is the Mediterranean one. But it is a lot more than just eating pasta, and it is almost impossible to follow in the modern Western World. Food wise it is nine servings of fruits and vegetables a day, tree nuts (a handful) with every meal, whole grains and cereals, cold water fish or poultry and hard cheeses once or twice a week, red meat once a month, and a liter of olive oil a week. Alcohol in moderation. Lifestyle it is an hour of exercise (cardio) every single day, preferably outdoors in the sunshine. Then there is the low psycho-social stress and tight knit family and community structure, this especially simply does not exist for the vast majority of Americans. This was told to me by a cardiologist that I know (and am not a patient of). If it can be followed exactly it will significantly benefit your health but it is really hard to do if you have a demanding job, live in northern latitudes and are separated from family like so many of us are. Certain aspects like the climate and local variances in food sources and genetics can probably never be duplicated.
