  1. Hi,
I'm looking to start a high frequency fund trading futures and
equities and am looking for a high speed broker to start with. anyone
have good suggestions? i heard of places like man financial, new edge,
or getco. also will they be willing to supply capital for trading with
them? our volume is very large and we already have several millions to
    start with.

Just call my friend Jim Simons over at Rennaissance Technologies. Simple as that! Tell him Charlie sent ya, and that you are a "friend of ours". He should be willing to tell you everything he knows and you will be up and running in no time.

  5. So you're looking for a Prime Broker? New Edge is very good; I believe they provide capital introduction as well.

  6. This is REALLY freakin' terrifying, ya' know?

  7. Futures: Check out Mirus, Velocity or anyone else using the RITHMIC api - they are freaking awesome, ticks in microsecond timestamp, order release in sub millisecond. You WILL need to colocate your equipment... otherwise those who do eat you alife. THis is not about them being slow, it is about having your server close to the exchange in a 1gbit connection to all other systems gives you an edge IF you rely on that ;)
