Does there exist an order that is sent to an exchange where you always remain best bid or offer, even ahead of hidden orders? Assuming no one can explicitly see a hidden order (is this confirmed for a fact?), can traders effectively detect hidden liquidity with such an order?
I don't think anyone can see hidden orders, and I don't think the order type you describe exists. But I could be wrong..if anyone knows better, please correct me. It's been a while since I've studied the many different lists of order types for the various exchanges/ECNs...
