  1. Does anyone know why Copper Futures /HG gap up today after 3PM PST when market re-open? It was a big gap, if there was no trading during the previous hour reset, why it gap up? Please help me understand this.

The contract rolled from Dec to Mar.

Yeah, no gaps here that I can see on Dec HG in your timeframe area. (The right side of the chart.)

  8. Hi Maverick74, I am still new to Future market. So what happened when someone still hold a Short right before that? Can you explain and why the price different? Thank you.

Your broker will not let you hold a physically settled future beyond last notice. You will get an e-mail usually a few days ahead warning you and then a final e-mail the day before warning you that the contract will be liquidated on last notice day.

  10. Thank you for that Maverick74
