  2. Cloud server farms are a great investment.
Far better than lending money on the internet for a 10% annual return.

Erm, my sense is that the guy does not know his ass from his elbow, trading-wise. Who is he anyway?

I like algos, they make my life easy. If I need to sell 1k of eminis, I can send them TWAP over 10 min, or arrival price, or match the cash market on close or do many other things. Algos provide me with liquidity, market matching. I have seen the human market-makers in developing markets and I would rather trade in electronic markets stuffed with high frequency bots. A testament to the positve effect of the eletronic markets is the fact that median daily volatility (adjusted for market returns) has steadily decreased since the appearance of the computerized traders.

This is not to say there are no questionable practices, e.g. quote stuffing and other forms of painting the tape. These should be banned and market making should be regulated - in fact, I think HFTs shold be held to the same standart of "orderly and fair market" as the specialists were supposed to.

I find it funny you guys keep discussing this video as if he were concerned about <i>how hard trading has become</i> with the introduction of algorithmic trading.

    Quote from RCG Trader:

LOL I have become convinced that there is a small but vocal group of
traders here who specialize in DISINFORMATION.

The ergotic code is free. Why not code the indicator and see how it
    works.

    Caveat Emptor
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That would be too easy, huh.
Hell, I give my indicator away for fee. I've given it away to over 100
people here on ET over the last 6 years.
One guy sent me a customized version of it Monday that he programmed
that labels the entries and exits. Took him 3 weeks to complete it and
    it hits about 2 to 3 trades a day at 85%. </b>

  9. You are a marketing person . . . nothing more.
You are a slimy salesman that didn't even know that RTH mean Regular Trading Hours.

Nice to see you starting another pissing contest to cover your obvious market idiosyncrasies.

  10. Niether did a billion dollar fund manager I work with--- RTH is an ETF.

I make no claims about my trading, the results on the surf report speak for themselves.

While I do enjoy marketing unique investments, please do tell me more about direct investment into cloud server farms---- this is a new one for me.

    thanks,
