HFT is Killing the EMini

  1. Surely no-one here thinks the behaviour of the either the nat gas algo or the "disruptor" from the article on page 1 is a good thing on any level?

  5. I don't have the luxury of making a distinction. Price action is not a new market phenomena. Neither are widening bid/ask spreads during times of volatility.

    Keep fighting the ghost in the machine.

    sorry bob, i dont care how much experience you say you have, but you should have realised that fact a long, long time ago.

    its common sense - good opportunities that offer superior risk - reward probability, by their very nature will not be there for long.

    you gotta tbe sharp in decision and quick in actio or you miss it. training, training, training.

    nothing to do with hft - everything to do with basic life survival.

    heh..off course it have nothing to do with HFT..when posted bid is 1000 shares and you trying to sell 500 and got fill only 5 and bid moved away 10-25 cents without any trades..yep..it's all "basic survival"..trying to sell at ask? 1000's of shares at your price-no fill, then price drop..why? ah..someone was on front of you with hidden order at 0.00001 better than yours..shit..basic survival strikes again! got more BS?..
