  1. Not for much longer

Your cheating days are coming to an end boy.

Better get ready to adapt or get that life insurance policy sorted.

    Imagine this -

    1. You hire a kid, 20 years old, not stupid

    2. You train him to trade (assuming you have a good record and method)

    3. You tell him only to focus on price action and ban him from reading anything to do with trading, including surfing sites like this.

Do you think he'd complain about Robots and Algos?

    I don't think so.

  4. Nah,

You guys are on your way out.

Stick a few cents on the trades(when you actually trade that is)

Make a minimum time for trades to be live in the market.

You're done, and it's happening sooner than you think.

Just so we're clear - I don't take issue with people who use automated systems to trade so long as that system DOESN"T involve posting millions of orders that never get filled or have the intention of getting filled - that is for d**kheads and does any markets NO favours at all.

All of our trades are 100% on the book and we never take the liquidity away; we do not hit the bid and we never take an offer. The true HFT is not about faking the trade; it is all about identifying the opportunity sooner than anyone else and acting upon it one tick ahead of everybody. i don't see anything wrong with it!

You sound like a market maker from the 90's who used to complain about the soes bandits and threaten them like some mob boss.

    The whining never stops.
