The better course of action for 911 would have been similar to what Clinton did when terrorists attacked. Besides getting a blowjob, he simply dropped a bomb or two on the offending areas of origin - end - he moved on... on to Monica. When 911 happened, Bush should have taken much more sophisticated, cooperative and white-collar approaches and measures to securing the USA. Like terrorists (if they were terrorists) planned for years to carry out 911, Bush should have also planned for years to prevent such things from happening in the future. Now the whole Arab Muslim world is enraged with America. That is not fixing the situation. 5-years has passed. 10s of 1000s of innocent lives have been lost, besides many more wounded. Yes, no terrorist attacks of comparable size to 911 have happened on US soil YET, but Bin Laden always took years between attacks anyway, so, "safety of US citizens" cannot really be measured accurately. For Bush to say, "America is safer," is delusional and unsubstantiated. If anything, Bush's response to 911 has only served to further destabilize the world and the USA. A better solution would have been to "fight the war on terror" but in quieter, less obvious ways. Iraq is the gapping hole as proof of this. The region will now never be without war and SBs while US/allied troops are there. The Gaza Strip, Iran, Lebanon and Syria may be joining the circus as long as Israel remains unchecked. Iconoclast

There's a catch! If you knew about 9/11 weeks before it happened and you were therefore spending the longest presidential vacation in history, you'd never want it investigated.
