Murray? I dunno to be honest. I meant conservative actors in general though.

Huh? Tell that to Barry. The idea of working hard and supporting oneself and not living off the government does not seem like common sense to the left. All I hear from the left is about health care being an entitlement, more jobless benefits and more food stamps.

  3. Can you provide a link of some sort how progressives are outraged? Or is this another one of those things dwelling only in your own mind?

  4. Health care, definitely yes, that's a no brainer, IMHO.
More jobless benefits & more food stamps, no, more jobs are the answer, even if it's make work jobs by the government. People just feel better when they are working and it seems when you're working it's easier to find a better job.

Nobody is going to hire someone who has been on unemployment compensation for 99 weeks. Its hard to bury 2 years on a resume.

Plus you have the fact that most small business owners have to bust their ass for a living, and most are pushed to the right once they start having to deal with the government, and they realize how many onerous regulations they have to deal with.

If i was a small business owner and i was to get a resume from a guy who went from full employment, to applying for a job 2 years later, i would realize that he has been living off the government for 2 years, and that he really doesnt want to work, its only a pay cheque thing, and that my taxes went to supporting him. I would be so pissed off if i started reading a resume like that, that i would rip it apart throw it in the garbage, then light it on fire. I would have way more respect for a guy if his resume said he worked at McDonalds for 2 years, then someone who just had a blank on his resume, plus if the guy applying for the job was any good at selling himself, he could say straight up that he took that job, so that he was atleast working, doing something to support himself, and most employers would have an immense amount of respect for him.

  7. Way off the mark, and you know better. The 'left' as you call them, want the same things you do. Jobs, health care, and the American way. Just because they out number the right, especially in the media and Hollywood, doesn't mean they are bad people.

What? The left outnumbers the right? This is a center/right country.

Yes, the MSM and hollywood are left. The people are mostly right.

  10. Yeah, a two year hole in a resume is a big big red flag. In fact, I would look for big holes like that so I could file them right away, saves time.
