  1. :D I supose I should change my handle to BA_Poster.

Too bad they don't have different degrees of the word trading...
like crawl - walk - run. I'm still crawling... sorta backtesting
myself but in realtime - forward testing?

I think that's a great idea about the forum. Unfortunately I'm
not sure how deeply Jack will get involved -- possibly not at
all. That's a gut feeling -- I have no idea what his master plan
is... but if it involved that sort of thing he could have done it
    a long time ago.

  5. Well I suppose that now that I've completely railroaded this
thread I should respond to every post.

nkhoi - are you insinuating that I am a Jack alias?

  6. ...thanks for that last picture. OK, everybody already knows I'm an ass and an idiot, so WTF. How do you know to take the long view and draw the channels YOUR way rather than the way some idiot did in the attachment? My last colonoscopy was less embarrassing that this.

  7. The short answer is pace. I do ES so looking at NQ vol is a bit
foreign to me... PV tells you how to read the shorter channels
(the ones you have marked) -- pace tells you how to string
them together. The most important thing is how everything
    is working together.

I hate to say it but it's very ummm organic? zen?

  9. further -- slow pace (i.e. laterals) tend to punctuate things.
If you read the old posts jack has hit this point a million times.

  10. ...thanks. From a pace viewpoint NQ today was a bit slower than a big trend day, but not much. The volume on long one minute bars was about par. I guess the needle-prick-the bug-f***er channel widths are the key to kicking back and taking the slower perspective. I sure screwed it up today. But then again, overtrading keeps me awake and away from ET, which is not a healthy place to hang out. The one saving grace is that I banged away at those FTT's with wild abandon. Ain't skeered to do dat no mo.
