Hmm. Selma is nominated for Best Picture, and he's pissed off. Go figure (sour grapes) ? But the results kinda restore my faith in the nomination process. Maybe it's based on merit after all, and not just PC.

The NBA analogy is perfect for this. There are many talented white boys who play a good game of hoop, just not good enough to play in the NBA. Doesn't mean that they aren't really good at the game, they're just not good enough. It's not about skin color, it's about ability. There are some really talented black actors. Great talent, but for this years line up and it's only one year we're talking about, black actors didn't make the cut. It's not about skin color...unless you're a racist like Sharpton. Then everything, anything, all things are about skin color. How this shakedown artist stays relevant is beyond me.
