  2. sorry 777, feeding trolls isn't exactly my top priority. I work, volunteer and took some time this weekend to have some fun. Also, to be honest I've been trying not to post itt in hopes that it would just die and go away.

Painting the tape is Series7 101 stuff. Compliance at most shops are all over that. If not, then the firm and its compliance department are involved in securities fraud and it'll be caught sooner or later. You can not be long and short a security in the same account (or sub accounts that filter up to the same master account).

Comparing the US Equity Markets, arguably the most advanced exchanges and execution in the world, to India who’s exchanges are far outdated and not even close to the same technological level… well that’s just funny. Almost as funny as using Zero Hedge as your source for propaganda or copying and pasting the Nanex link over and over when its clear you don’t understand the context of the article or the bias of the author towards the firm’s marketing campaigns.

  3. Posted from any number of sources , not just the 2 you barfed up.

Your naivete is astounding. Even a newbie can see the manip that goes on regularly, but you quote chapter and verse about compliance.

    I rest my case.

  5. Nasdaq OMX Group Inc. (NDAQ), operator of the Nasdaq stock exchange, said this week it will strip information from stock orders that some traders say is too revealing.

Starting Dec. 6, Nasdaq will hide reference numbers assigned to orders meant to be invisible to the market, the exchange said Thursday in an alert to traders. Some traders were concerned that sophisticated computer programs could use those reference numbers to identify a larger pattern in orders and use that to manipulate prices.

Gee, they should have asked tj, he'd have said nothing was amiss, all is well, everyone is happy.

What a clown, and his buffoonery is now permanently enshrined in this thread

Stock to your 'volunteer' work pal, your market work don't cut it.

  6. Out of curiosity, 777. Are you a trader or an investor?

  7. It has great promise, but none of the charts or illustrations have been included in the PDF file. Is this still unpublished ? Or were those important elements withdrawn intentionally for the "free" version of the study ?

  8. My bad....they placed all of the charts and illustrations at the END of the document with no links when they were referenced in the middle of the document.
I wonder why they did this ?

  9. Quick look at it.

They make 3 billion a year being nice guys and helping old ladies cross the street according to the egghead.

Good thing they are not money hungry, lest they make 50 billion.

  10. Actually, I want to become one of them. I'm not greedy...I'll take 1 million per year and be VERY satisfied.

What's really interesting is how cloaked the entire research process has been with regards towards developing profitable HFT strategies. Unfortunately, it appears no one can publish information on this.
