If that was completely true then Bernie Madoff wouldn't be behind bars. Political corruption rather than the race/religion of the person more likely explains why Corzine is still a free man...the fact that Corzine made the largest donation to the Democrat party...it would raise even more difficult questions if he was convicted. Sometimes the simplest explanation is the best one.
you make fair points. I obviously do not have proof for my assertions. In the end I believe the truth always lies somewhere in between. (in between two logical explanations). Your points is certainly a very valid one. And yes, Madoff was most likely the Black Swan that could not be saved. Obviously, when wrongdoing is just too obvious there are times when even one's family does not want to touch a too hot potato anymore. But the cases where business leaders or politicians who acted unlawfully and belonged to a certain race got away without a scratch are just staggering. However, again, you do make valid points and I believe the truth most likely lies in between.
