Thats where we differ. I don't put women in the same category as blacks, jews, and gays. Women, especially western women, were never oppressed like those groups. In fact the opposite, historically (except for childbirth) women had it much easier than men.
Here in the U.S. women couldn't own property in some states until 1900, couldn't vote until 1920, and were effectively precluded from the vast majority of executive level jobs until well into the 70s. While engaging in victimization one-upmanship is a facile exercise, it's patently absurd to claim a woman who wanted to be a CEO of a Fortune 500 company always had an equal chance at that as a man....you're better than that. And none of that changes the fact that your comment was gratuitous and had no purpose except to piss people off, and again, you're better than that.
