i can't stay. The scales are the prices. I pick a printed value, double it and move the decimal point. thus I know what 20% is in the middle of the chart. I skim by looking for the BO's and see if they are greater than the 20% value. I also glance to see if a VDU is there before the BO. A VDU is a low value of volume for a day and it is a day or so before the BO. It is kind of a quick appraisal. If I monthly opportunites and I use tham for about a 1/4 of a month, then things overlap nicely. Four overlaps of 20% each month is a nice base to operate from. I also check the slope of the diagonal price path and make sure I see over 100% in 6 months. I prefer to see about 400% if it is there. In case I screw up a buy (1 out of 8) then I know that by the time I decide to replace the trade that sitting in the trade is still workable because I am at least running at an average of 200 to 800% a year with time stop out type mistaken entries. All of you comments are helping me set some chat levels. I can see that a lot of this is not the normal ET experience. No problem. we are just getting a new vehicle set up for taking a ride.
lol David is out of London except for blue grassweekends here. we willl get it down.. i am just resting up today.
Hi Jack, I just started reading your threads. I completed the 3 lists. (they are posted above) I am not familiar with your prior posts regarding your strategy. Am I far behind? Or are you starting fresh right here? In other words, will I be able to participate in this? Thanks, gotta_trade
that is it. copy a few jot in pencilled data and for today type them to get a few on the thread. you will find all sorts of little places for key info. we do this weekly. and it is fast when you are focused. During the week we do an evening quicky for 20 min that covers everthing.
Jack, Ok, I have the 3 lists. Should I be at the ClearStation stage right now? Or do I just "relax" with my 3 lists? (I just what to make sure, I'm up to pace) Thanks, gotta_trade
Well, what we have been told to do is after getting the lists, scan them for 20%+ price gains that occur within 6 or 8 day period, look for a min of 5 such periods occuring within past 6 months.
