Walker is tired of Trump's grifting to steal money and undermining his campaign effort.

Walker's campaign tells Republicans to stop 'deceptive fundraising' in Georgia runoff
At least four committees, one of them associated with former President Donald Trump, have kept 90% of contributions solicited for Senate GOP candidate Herschel Walker.

The campaign said it first noticed the problem Saturday when former President Donald Trump’s Save America sent out an email that asked prospective donors to “contribute ANY AMOUNT IMMEDIATELY to the Official Georgia Runoff Fundraising Goal and increase your impact by 1200%”

But if donors didn’t see a link that said “click here for details or to edit allocation,” they wouldn’t have noticed that 90% of their contributions automatically went to Trump, with the remaining 10% going to Walker.

While Walker may be outright stupid... the people running his campaign are not. It's Dump Trump time. This is especially amusing that Warnock's leading campaign commercial for the runoff simply has Trump praising Walker.

So just how toxic is the Trump brand within Republican circles? Herschel Walker's campaign is telling Donald to stay away.

Trump furious at Herschel Walker campaign
Donald Trump is reportedly “p—-d” that Republican campaign operatives are telling the former president to stay away from Herschel Walker‘s Senate runoff election in Georgia.

  7. I don't think this matters that much. Unlike some other candidates in 2022, I don't think Walker lost as much for tying himself to Trump as much as he did by simply being a moron. I'm waiting to see a poll. I figured without Kemp on the ticket and the Democrats already having the majority there's little to gain over the next two years by replacing Warnock for the GOP. How many people who held their nose and voted for him last time are actually willing to show up for the special election? My gut tells me that the anti-Walker sentiment will be stronger than any other and that he will lose by a significant margin. There's just very little incentive to vote him and plenty of incentives to vote against him.

Herschel just wants to show his love for people. And if something happens, he'll pay to make it go away.
