  1. Does anyone know where they sell Herman Miller chairs in Chicago? I want to sit in one before I spend the 700 dollars to buy it!

  2. I've seen them at the Great Indoors and Costco (don't remember which models though).

I got my Aeron from http://www.sit4less.com/ a couple years ago and have been very happy with it
  3. Thanks a lot just bought one at Home Office Solutions in Northbrook! Awesome Chair!!!!!

  6. You are spending wisely.
  7. you can get great deals on craigslist!
  8. I always found it interesting that the New York Public library of the Performing Arts outfitted the entire building (every floor) with Herman Millers. Taxpayer money at work :)

When I was shopping for a chair several years ago, I started with the Aeron as my primary target. However, after reading the feedback on several sites, I made sure I tested one extensively. The "Rock-hard waterfall front edge cuts off circulation to legs" was a major issue for me. I then went on a mission to test-drive (or test-sit) in all of the top chairs. Ended up with a Steelcase Leap chair. Best money I ever spent (or close).
