Here's how I turned $3,500 into millions buying and selling digital art

I am willing to die on this hill, like good ol' Custer. :)

Apologizes if I mistook you for someone else, I respond to several people and don't always remember who said what.

One wise thing is to keep one's blood pressure low to actively use the Ignore feature. I have been putting crypto fans on mine, most recently Johnarb, because I think we lost him. He is actually quite civil but I kept replying to him, so the best way to avoid an ever going repetitive convo was to break connection. Maybe in a few months I will put him back, once BTC breaks below 30K. I have to rub the "I told you so" in. :)

com’n, more BS, if true you wouldn't have been able to even see this thread that was started by him.

why you pontificate on stuff outside your knowledge base and easily verifiable is an ET mystery

Not to fud but numbers this morning were 15k folks KYC'd with 70k plots of land and max 2 per wallet. If these numbers are valid, and if I was in Apecoin, I'd be taking off some risk

Not fud at all, Sprout, good solid info and appreciate it

The sell off already happened with the not-so-good news yesterday and I saw Apecoin going to the $20 level

Only 55k plots are for sale to the kyc folks, the Bored Apes and Mutant Apes get land for free. The more premium lands, of course, with the best going to the Bored Apes :D

    -----------------

No more Dutch Auction, selling in waves Wave 1 limited to 2 per KYC wallet, Wave 2 limited to 4 per KYC wallet and so on

My guess is it sells out in Wave 2, but possibly in Wave 1 if a bunch of wallets load up by tonight or early morning tomorrow

Why so confident of the selloff? Secondary market where people who did not KYC is predicted to be strong (we shall see)

    -----------------

My target portfolio allocation for long term hodl of Apecoin is 5000 Apecoins

I'm not even close at 1700 Apecoins but that is a target that I don't mind acquiring over a long time period and depending on market conditions and news and development

Short term, if Apecoin hits $30 within this week, I could sell 25% of my position which will remove about 50% of risk capital which I can use for yield farming, an endeavor I enjoy :D:D:D

My target price for Apecoin is $100 within 2 years provided successful execution from the Yuga Labs and their partners

    -------------------------

Animoca, ApecoinDAO, and others behind the scenes we don't know about like Reddit co-founder and his connections and his NFT fund

Many players in this Metaverse battle. We do not want Facebook Meta to win

Apecoin in an ecosystem of commerce and a rich metaverse world, i.e. Ready Player One and Free Guy

There's all kinds of speculation on Twitter on this, using models from Roblox, Minecraft and other gaming platforms and their use of in-game currencies for tools, weapons, skins and stuff

JP Morgan did not open a bank lounge cafe in the metaverse for nothing

Goldman Sachs did not change their website to reflect their deep dive into this space for nothing (it's back to boring now, lol)

The future is ours. Let's take it!! (-brad pitt voice)

    -----------------

On a related note, what a lifesaver owning a Bored Ape has been to my crypto portfolio. The price floor keeps going up and currently at 152.8 Eth

(In the past) I saw a video and a post that blue chip NFT's are a safe haven during crypto winter (bear market) and so far that has been proven to be correct in my case

The prudent thing to do is to cash out and sell the premium metaverse land that I will get tomorrow. This will remove some of the invested capital at risk on the Bored Ape

But I don't think I will. Degen to the core, brother

    ---------------

Hope everyone in crypto assets are doing well!! We know who we are and we're united in this

The stock market is crashing and will continue to crash. J Powell wants to raise 100 basis points for the next 10 meetings, I support that

Bond markets and credit swaps and real estate and stock market all go to shitters. Bank failures and contagion take place, Let it burn!!

Let's not focus on fiat valuation. Stack sats or your choice of crypto assets store of value

    We will be ok

    ps: wagmi

Highly entertaining read, johnarb. The euphoria is palpable.

You seriously think all other asset classes will fair poorly but crypto? It looks like Bitcoin is correlated with equities.

Ridiculously easy money on the short side in equities. A generational bear market is underway. I wouldn’t want to be holding equities long term.

If the correlation continues, that’s bad news for Bitcoin.

Thank you, savoir. I actually appreciate that you read it, given your background you explained on another thread

You've probably seen/glanced at the other threads I've started, "Prolly nothing"

TL;DR but gist of those threads are global adoption of the crypto assets

Yea, stock market correlation in the short term, same retail and same institutional money are invested in (tech) stocks and risky assets are invested in Bitcoin and crypto assets and when fear reigns, they all run to safety by deleveraging and selling to the almighty $

    Will that continue?

Alternative safety asset = Bitcoin... and other crypto assets.... and dare I say it, NFT's

    -----------------------

No need to believe in my delusional beliefs, but however, when you have some time, the books Layered Money and The Bitcoin Standard may give you an idea of why I am deeply committed to this space

    ----------------------

The world is changing and they are slowly or even quickly realizing the safety assets of the past, US treasuries, JPY, US $, German Bonds may not be quite as safe

Lo' and behold the true safe asset of the world = Bitcoin

Look at the world carnage from the eye of the beholder, a millionaire from Dubai, a millionaire from South Korea, a millionaire from France

We're here in the US and think the world revolves around Facebook and Amazon and Google stocks as the measure of growth and strength of the economy and when they are not, we accept a recession and crash

However, maybe the global citizens don't have to accept that :D
