Carl Icahn calls Herbalife (HLF) the 'daughter of all short squeezes," saying he hasn't sold a single share.

anybody remember presstek or resorts international?

the best recently was mdbx which could only be shorted with the greatest of difficulty.

perhaps there should a thread on the great short squeezes.

  3. Carl Ichan is smiling all the way to the bank. But Ackerman is probably trading it like crazy in between shorts. If he can hold on until he has a large win maybe he can offset the capital gains and limit the loses.

The MLM companies are living on their own planets. With members of Congress as members they have a great membership. Also with natural products consumption growing in the society its a win win. :D

  5. Ackman seems underwater on his HLF short.

"short interest in Herbalife spiked around May, suggesting that Ackman likely shorted most of the stock around $50 per share."

I've only read about the resorts intl short squeeze. Robert Wilson is still a very rich man despite his bugaboo.

  7. Herba-life put a retreat above my house, here is a photo of a get-away for their top sellers. I see them walking around with their shirts and cars loaded up with stickers advertising.

I don't know very many people who have made money selling these products to their family, friends and now most churches will kick them out of the church if you offer this stuff.

Ebay is loaded with Herbalife, it's stock I have been trading intra-day and holding overnight because the momentum is brutal to the upside. I do think we might see $60, when does a professional like Bill Ackman decide to throw in the towel? How much risk is he allowed to have with his own firm? I like Bill Ackman, he is great with value investing and I have made money piggy-backing off him.

  10. Yeah, Soros smells the short squeeze coming. What does Ackman do? Herbalife is even more "overvalued" now.
