New here, so if this is in the wrong forum or even wrong website, I will accept creative criticism gracefully. I am by no means a day trader, however, I would like to trade a limited amount of money at my convenience that is in a IRA that was eventually established from stolen 401k money. I have access to trade online, but do not understand some of the terms. What is limit and stop price. If I use these options, will my buy/sell order wait for this criteria to be met before action is taken? If more information is needed, please ask. Thanks in advance.

If you're at all unsure about how to proceed, the Smith Barney web site has some educational material (Smith Barney University), and you can talk to your broker any time.
