I already have an stock and options account at IB. I would like to move over my Roth IRA from Schwab. Can anyone who has moved an Roth IRA help me with some questions... 1. Do I have to fill out the entire new accounts form from the new accounts link on the IB Page OR is there a simpler way since IB already has my information? 2. I have all cash in my Roth IRA. Do I need to go to Schwab to get them to wire it over or give IB the account information so they can ask for it? 3. How do you make deposits to your Roth IRA every year with IB? Send a check and write the year contribution it is for?
sanjuro, If you send your post to help@interactivebrokers.com and mark to the attention Help IRA, you should get a response during US hours. I'm not familiar with IRA issues but given that your account at Schwab is cash there should be no problems with the xfer.
