Help with exit points for swing trading (pic)

  1. I'm gonna have to read your posts again to understand the money velocity thing.

    But in the mean time, since I don't know how to enter, can you teach me a better way?

    A month isnt very long for a swing trade at all;
    as you account grows & your comissions are lowered , may or may not want to buy/sell more.

    Yes, right on not giving up your profits on a nicely uptrending stock like''N'';
    dont give much % of profits back.

    Looks like N is headed north of $50.00, not a prediction;
    & if it does NOT, would get out of Inco, dont stay in Inco if the buyers arent in, especially if selling is on above average volume like OCT.

  3. My trailing stop just got hit at $46.51.

    If it rises farther after this I won't be too upset. A gain is better than a loss. Besides, I'm a n00b.

  4. Like to swing/position trade in energy stocks that are like InCo;
    plenty liquid ,orderly & whether you are in or out they tend to bounce up @ the end of the day.:cool:
