I have a dell dimension 4700 running xp home and it has this:

    128MB PCI Express™ x16 (DVI/VGA/TV-out) ATI Radeon™ X300 SE

Can anyone tell me if I can hook up 2 monitors and if yes, can I see different things on each monitor ( like 2 different web pages) or will both monitors show the same thing?

Is it a good video card?
This computer is going on 3 years old but runs real well.

    Thanks

Presuming your video card has 2 ports (some x300's had only 1 port), it will run 2 monitors. After connecting the 2nd monitor, go into Display/Settings. Click the "Extend Windows Desktop onto this monitor". Your desktop will now be 2-monitors wide.

Your x300 was one of the early PCIEx16 cards. It's OK for trading and general computing.
