help me understand limit up? emergency

soy has a higher limit than wheat... all limit up now

 

Beans 50 cents. Corn 20 cents. Wheat 30 cents.

 

Except for oil, commodities are having a nice day

 

You need to use options to get out. Waiting til 4pm is a big gamble. If demand is strong enough, it's just going to go limit during the preopen and it'll just open limit.

PS - I don't think 30 cents is a realistic limit at these price levels.

 

Agree, limits should be in percentage IMHO.

 

What would you recommend? Short 4 May Wheat at 1010. Last price 1049 3/4.

Get out using options man, it'll be painful but much less painful than watching it soard to eleven or so you know?

 

any recommendations on what to do? at this point 1 hr from the close im going to wait till it re-opens tonite.
