Help me to build 6-8 monitor trading battle station :)

  1. The two companies I deal with for the major hardware are Newegg and TigerDirect.

I could shave a few bucks off their prices, as there are many others out there, but these outfits are very competitive prices and always have the latest hardware. The other key is their return and replacement policies. I recently built a nice system for a friend but one of the audio jack ports was bad. Newegg didn't even blink, had the bad part RMA'd and shipped a new part within days. Tigerdirect has been great too, and I believe they do international orders.

Here's their respective web address links.

Nextag is a great site to use once you decide what parts you want. Simply plug in the part number and/or specific part name and it will list out the vendors with links. I use it double check Newegg and TigerDirect to make sure they are not pulling a “Walmart” on me. Walmart in the US loves to show really low advertized or endcap prices, but the non-advertized prices are typically higher than the competition. And all vendors love to let their prices creep up over time. Sites like Nextag help keep them on their toes.

Amazon is a major player now days. For instance when I mention you can get the NVS 450 Quadro for around $330 US, here's the actual link below the general Amazon link. And they ship international. I believe Amazon has various international web sites, which you have to use for customs and taxes, but I'm not familiar with how that works.

I have found the Elite Trader website to be one of the best around for traders and the advice people give is really helpful.

Best wishes and good luck on your build.

  3. Take a look at their sites, but as mentioned in previous email, TigerDirect does but I'm not sure about Newegg.

    Cheers and best regards.
