Thank you, as previously indicated I really am very visual and wondering if I can duplicate this file of FLNG and one is daily candlesticks with fibs the second is one minute OHLC to better find the lows with Fibs projection. All other information I usually have with TC2K with volume, EMA's etc.. I keep things simple and using TC2K scanning. I will always keep TC because of Volume Buzz, sort of a minute by minute volume % in other words 9:35AM a equity has a volume buzz of 100% means its trading 100% more than the previous day's volume. Which is quite helpful during the beginning of the day for potential movers. Of course strictly for equities, futures is out of the question with TC2K.
Mark, seems your needs are fairly modest Although not sure what fib levels exactly you are plotting there but I tried to approximate.
Wait. What? Duplicate a symbol from worksheet to worksheet. As in Cut/Copy and Paste??!! Maybe a pic would be helpful, or a link to SC support forum thread you posted to. If you better explained the problem you are having, you might get better solutions/answers, or even a non-sanctioned-by-SC "hack" or two. Just saying.
Actually there is two different conversations. 1) The problem with Sierra (I was overseas for a few weeks, plus internet down due to Hurricane , since live in Cape Coral Ground Zero. Originally you could have two files (chartbooks) with multiple equities with Sierra. Sometimes I have a file with a few equities of interest, and purchase, so I would want to move to a Ownership File . What they did is change the instructions so instead of one right click >duplicate chart to chart Book > than you pick out the chartbook. Now its a extra step, unfortunately there is a lot of extra steps with them. FYI lets say you want to add a bunch of symbols you cannot pick from a watchlist, you need to "symbol" "symbol" etc. than rename the symbol if you want to squeeze as many to a chartlist. Anyhow complicated, not intuitive and I would rather work more simplistically. Especially when I have 100 symbols to monitor. 2) The charts submitted in the PDF is visually what I am looking for, plus if you see the levels they are fibonacci's and my other levels , all I am asking is to duplicate the charts with another new charting program. I like the visuals and found many programs limited for instance Think or Swim, Motive Wave, etc.. Ninja came close, but had issues with Ninja especially not robust years ago to handle dropped packets, and few symbols available on my screens.
Vote for multicharts, although I am happy with tws and its mobile app, don’t day trade with IB. there isn’t a perfect platform.
Using IB´s datafeed in MW is quicker than using Ninja but when switching the time frame of a chart with some indictors on, you get stucked. Loading gets incredible slow so you can´t really work in a reasonable way. When using MW you shoud try an extra datafeed like dxfeed or barchart. But if trading only stocks or etfs i recommend Tradingview. It allows trading with IB.
