    Hi,

I need some help, last week someone broke into my house trashed it and stole 2 laptops, the kids wii, etc, etc, etc. One of my laptops is set to automatically sign into my msn instant messenger and apparently they can't figure out how to turn this off because I see my computer logon every day. I logged on with the msn id from the laptop and created a new logon and added it as a friend on that account so I can see when they are logged on. Does anyone know how I can get the IP of the stolen computer when they logon? They won't speak back to me or accept a file from me while I do netstat. Do you think the police would even be sophisticated enough to do anything with it if I was able to provide it?

    Thanks,

    Preston
