the problem with this option is that i find that sometimes i buy an option that reaches the value but it doesn't make any money such as i buy a call expiring in sep 29 at 2890 and th market is 2895 so if i was holding a future i would make 250$ but holding the option can result with -500$ did i explain it well?
But you were planning on hedging with puts. If you want to directional trade the S&P index, with no options, your choices are ES and SPY. You have to choose what fits you. I can only offer the choices. The is no e-mini/mini.
see i just love this when people talk about options they all automatically default to buying them. the whole industry is geared towards sucking in idiots to buy options oh well that's why sellers have jets and buyers are asking for help.
