Help a noob out....(IB)

Can anyone tell me why I'm getting this error??? I was trading earlier in the day and wanted to get back into GS at 170.10 and TWS spit this out....

It looks like your account was funded today or yesterday. In this event credit manager won't allow margin trades until tomorrow.
As for the 1st trade, it was probably in cash.

 

you're right....it was funded yesterday, but my first few trades were valued > 25k (my deposit)......what gives?

 

I can not explain why the 1st trade was allowed but the 2nd rejected is okay considering the account was funded only yesterday.
