Can anyone recommend good stock charting and screening software that works with Mac OSX? I never knew how deficient Macs were for financial titles. Thanks!
I've considered writting an app for Mac OS X, but the real trouble is finding a realtime datafeed. There is TrackData via Java, but so far that seems to be it.
there is http://www.linnsoft.com/ http://www.trade-strategist.com/ http://www.beesoft.net/ http://www.trendsoft.com/ and yes data vendors locking in their feed is a big roadblock for getting non-Windows tools ...
As a long time Mac user, I too wanted to use Mac apps for my trading work. But the more I researched what is available for the Windows side, it become so obvious that the choices are very much better for Windows than the Mac. Trading is hard enough. Why would you want to give up any of your edge just so you can be Mac-only? The point of trading is to make money, not to support Apple. By the way, I ended up with TradeStation which I'm very happy with. Dale
