Hedging in German (DAX) market

For options (not Futures/Futures Option), what are the hedging equities/index I can use for DAX?
US has the VIX but German's VIX is inactive...

Take a look at the STOXX products if they are available to you.

 

Thx. Yeah they are available but they tend to move along the DAX index and I cant see any liquidity yet. I was hoping to use an inverted instrument (e.g VIX is generally inverse of SPY).
In fact I wanted to hedge some Bull Put on Bayer and BMW through other instruments - any suggestion?
I can go for Bear Call making ending with Iron Condor for these equities but I am not sure its the right approach at this stage.

you can somewhat hedge being long fdax by shorting estoxx50

What kind of instruments are you looking for? Are futures acceptable?

Not into Futures yet. Was looking to hedge against other options.
