Hedging eminis with options??

Anyone hedging emini with options of some sort (when day trading)? say use qqqq options when trading NQ or use spy options for ES. Is this strategy worth exploring or should I stick to plain stop loss?

es nq futures trades 24 hours qqqq options and spy only 7.45 hours so no good hedging

 

how about hedging using options to trade es/nq during regular trading hours on an intraday timeframe??
